Privacy Policy
Esser Financial LLC, a Florida limited liability company doing business as "Esser Financial" ("we," "our," or "us"), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our AI-powered financial chat tool. Please read this policy carefully. If you disagree with its terms, please discontinue use of our service.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide Directly
- Account registration data: email address and password (stored and managed via Supabase authentication)
- Chat messages and queries you submit to our AI assistant
- Billing and payment information if you subscribe to a paid tier (processed by Stripe; we do not store raw card data)
- Communications you send to us (e.g., support emails)
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Log data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages visited, and timestamps
- Session data: authentication tokens and session identifiers managed by Supabase
- Usage data: features accessed, queries submitted, and interaction patterns
1.3 Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect Social Security numbers, government-issued ID numbers, bank account numbers, or your brokerage login credentials. When you use the optional brokerage connection described in Section 1.4, you authenticate directly with your brokerage through our integration partner — your brokerage username and password are never transmitted to or stored by Esser Financial. Esser Financial is a research tool, not a financial institution, and cannot move money, place trades, or modify anything in your financial accounts.
1.4 Brokerage Connection Data (Optional)
Premium subscribers may optionally connect a brokerage account to automatically import their investment holdings. This feature is powered by SnapTrade (Wealthica Financial Technology Inc.), a third-party account-aggregation service, and is strictly read-only. If you choose to connect a brokerage:
- You log in to your brokerage on SnapTrade's hosted connection portal — your brokerage credentials go to SnapTrade and your brokerage, never to us
- We receive and store the imported position data (ticker symbols, share quantities, cost basis, and current values) in your portfolio, alongside any holdings you entered manually
- We store a connection identifier issued by SnapTrade that allows us to refresh your holdings on your request; this identifier cannot be used to access your brokerage login or to make transactions
- You may disconnect at any time by revoking the connection at your brokerage or through SnapTrade, and you may delete imported holdings from your portfolio like any other holding
Data processed by SnapTrade is subject to SnapTrade's own privacy policy. We encourage you to review it before connecting an account.
